9.-11. JULY IN OITME
VILLAGE
ON THE SAAREMAA ISLAND IN ESTONIA
A special ferry reserved only for bikers is
departing from the port of
VIRTSU on the Estonian mainland at 13.20
on Friday 9th of July.
Back to the mainland it sails on Sunday the 11th
at 14.00, from KUIVASTU harbor.
Regular ferries depart every full hour in both directions, every
day.
You can also buy a day ticket for bikers for the 9th and 11th
July as an e-ticket at www.tuulelaevad.ee
This gives you more flexibility in using the ferry transportation
in both directions.
It is advisable to be in
the harbor one hour earlier to ensure a place on the ferry.
Please note! Most likely
the police are having a big raid stopping every vehicle leaving
the island on Sunday,
as they have made a habit.
Gathering for the grand parade to Oitme at 15.00 on Friday on the
parking
place of Meri SPA Hotel by the Kuressaare old castle. The parade
starts at 16.00 and the ride takes
approx. 45 minutes.
The price you should pay
for the one-day ticket is 250 EEK
and for the two-day ticket is 350 EEK (approximately 14 and 19
GBP).
The ticket price includes a guarded parking place for the
motorcycle, a tenting place,
a metal pinch for your west and a bracelet giving free entrance
to the big Õlletoober beer event.
There are also showers and toilets on the campsite, a lot of
interesting events and of course
lots of beer and nice company.
So turn your handlebars towards Saaremaa Mototoober in July and
be most welcome!
