9.-11. JULY IN OITME
VILLAGE
ON THE SAAREMAA ISLAND IN ESTONIA
A special ferry only for dudes on bikes is leaving from VIRTSU
harbor on
the Estonian mainland at one 20 o clock p.m. on Friday the 9th of
July.
It sails back from KUIVASTU harbor on Sunday the 11th at two o
clock p.m.
Regular ferries depart in both directions every full hour, each
day.
You can buy an e-ticket for the 9th and 11th July at www.tuulelaevad.ee
It´s a day ticket for bikers and gives you more flexibility in
using the ferry in both directions.
You ought to be in the
harbor one hour earlier to make sure of getting on the special
ferry.
Remark! Most likely the
cops are checking every driver leaving the island on Sunday, as
usual.
Gathering for the grand parade to Oitme at 3 p.m. on Friday on
the parking place of Meri SPA Hotel
by the Kuressaare old castle. The parade starts at 4 p.m. and the
ride takes something like 45 minutes.
Cash per one-day ticket -
250 EEK and per two-day ticket - 350 EEK (about 21 & 30 USD).
The ticket to the happening includes a guarded parking place for
your ride, a tenting place, a metal pinch
for your west and a bracelet giving free entrance to the big Õlletoober beer event.
There are also showers and toilets on the campsite, a lot of
interesting happenings
and of course lots of beer and nice company.
